Eugene Daub

This category of my work falls well outside of my commissioned and public artwork. When I am creating sculpture that has to please no one but me, Usually, I turn to ceramic clay or Medallic work, (see under Art Medal)

The portrait heads are fired clay, usually twice life-size, using the hand-built approach, using slabs or coils. Instead of accurate portrayals, these are Playful yet still very personal. They are typical of individuals that I find
Inspirational, beguiling and heroic. I think of it as an ode or homage to them.
